I don't know what prompted this post, but I just felt that I had to let it out anyway.
Follow your dreams, blah blah blah.. Bullshit... All of these adages are only applicable to people who are fine on their own and do not have to worry about things at home. Afterall, if you do not have money, you just have to work for it. However, if you have something to worry about, to fend for, the money that you make does not go into your own pocket. That's the difference.
So shut up about all those adages that are only nice when they are applicable...

you know, some people make money by talking about these adages. either that, or they're probably being put in a position in which they have to succumb to socio-pressure to speak about such adages. Imagine someone asks Lance, "So what drives you to train so hard blah blah blah?" and Lance answers "to make money lah" That'll be so unromantic, the media wouldnt be happy, his sponsors wouldnt be happy, the editor for his biography will kiss his ass.
So now, with all these different sort of proverbs filling the market, you'll just have to figure out for yourself what's relevant and whats not. Marketing is all around you.
