Crazy week...
Dear TomHa,
Isn't she a beauty? Coupled with incredible storm warning systems and unparalleled barometer and compass readings. It is a definite must have for any rich mountaineering enthusiast! Sadly for me, I might fit the enthusiast bit, but I am definitely not rich... sobs...
And so, another week came and gone like no one's business. In another twinkling of the eye, I guess it would be New Year's soon. Not that I am complaining anyway. My year 4 timetable had been pretty good. Managed to have quite a lot of free slots that I, sadly, spent walking around and doing nothing productive. I had reached some sort of bottleneck with my FYP, with my sensors reporting that there are something within its range when there was nothing. Spooky. So glad that hungry ghosts' festival is over this tuesday. And also, I have absolutely no idea what my professors are talking about in all their lectures. I seriously hoped enough information diffused into my puny brain as I fell asleep in all the lectures, no matter the time.
I should be reading up on robots, programming and more thermodynamics. But, instead, I am like spending most of the time of the day reading the newspaper. Imagine 2h spent in the canteen or engin mac reading the news of the day. How boring had I gotten... Hence, some of the latest happenings that had caught my interest:
Mr Dave Teo Ming went AWOL with a SAR21Perhaps all the RPs had heard about what I am doing with my FYP and decided that they can take a break. Please don't... My sensors can only sense those good brothers.
Luciano Pavarotti died, aged 71One of the most incredible voices that I had ever listened to, Mr Pavarotti had left the world, leaving us mortals depressed over the lost of such a larger than life personality.
Check out his orbituary hereNothing much else. The rest of the news are always the same, though more interesting than any modules that I am doing.
Oh and before I forget. Saw this somewhere. If you had beedn reading Archie since young,
check this out! It is incredible that someone actually spends time and effort in bloggin about these fictional characters' life, away from the comics. And yah... I still think Betty most chio.
